having lived quite some time in view of open ocean i'm just gonna say something about the retardation of land-lubber flat earthers
if their nonsense was true, i would not see a hard line on the edge of the horizon on a clear day, it would have to always be fuzzy as it fades off into the linear distance
it looks like this on foggy/hazy days but not on the horizon, which no coincidence lines up with the perpendicular point of eye height from the ground relative to the sea level
it's just not possible for anyone who has seriously spent their time near open ocean to buy into that nonsense, it's only possible to believe it when you never saw a horizon
