Turns out the University of Zurich has been using AI bots to manipulate Redditors since Nov 24, in the name of research of course so it’s perfectly fine, even though no one agreed to be part of this study. According to their results the bots were able to blend in undetected (perhaps because a lot of redditors are bots anyway) and were 6X more likely to change hearts and minds of redditors!
I am sure this is only happening on Reddit right?
