To add some things here.
If you want to avoid any tie to you you shouldn't flash it at home because as soon as you turn your mobile phone on it sends IMEI etc to the cell towers and that data connects all parts. IMEI with your home address.
When it's flashed deactivate 2G, Bluetooth when not needed, WiFi when not needed. You also want to switch off time sync.
If you want to go further with your privacy than don't install any sim card in your privacy phone. Switch on Airplane mode and use WiFi via another phone hotspot or mobile router. That also avoids possible DNS leaks when you use a VPN.
