* https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chigi_Chapel : lateral chapel. If you stand there there are 4 statues around you, 2 from Bernini, which look... uncanny. Look at them with the corner of the eye... Compare with the other ones... Easy way to see firsthand the difference between a masterpiece and lesser masters' work. Don't read beforehand about which ones are Bernini's, you will get it by yourself. You will probably pass by Piazza del Popolo, so just enter in Basilica of Santa Maria del Popolo to see it.
* Basilica de San Clemente. Underground, another 4th century basilica. (you'll bump into some orthodox 'cause St Cyril and Methodius are buried there). Even deeper underground, a pagan temple with sacrificial altar complete with blood flow channels.

* Tomb of Bernini: he was given the opportunity of designing his own tomb at a lateral chapel. But who would pray for him? Then he choose to be buried at the presbitery steps, right next to the sacristy door, so that every priest who celebrates mass there would pass over his tomb. You probably will visit Santa Maria Maggiore too.
