It appears to me that human civilization has functioned as a mechanism for controlling and subjugating the masses through organized political frameworks designed by privileged elites.
These systems are maintained by both official and unofficial enforcers, sustained by the collective ignorance and complacency of the very population they serve and dominate.
Perhaps a violent uprising will serve a vital purpose, proving as essential to civil equilibrium as thunderstorms are to nature's balance.
