When I was in HS Spanish class we studied a piece of literature titled “el reloj” - it was a cautionary tale about how possessions own you and not the reverse. I have seen it every day. Really stuck with me.
I hate the phrase “you will own nothing and be happy” because it is really the extreme of this idea. It represents the ideal but by means of force, rather than choice.
Ownership is a manipulative illusion. You can never really “own” anything. But if you could truly own something the list would start and end with Bitcoin.
Beyond that, I think you can own your time. Bitcoin’s beauty lies in its unique ability to store time.
