you would 100% know that the plane parts are inconclusive because the reports on the evidence are inconclusive and is listed as such in the docket. That's what I'm saying, over the years there's been a lot to muddy the waters. The current flavour is three orbs that teleported the plane somewhere.
Yet we have had cases where commercial jets have been shot down, by accident, and covered up. See Itavia Flight 870, where a DC 10 was shot down and then covered up. "attributed the crash to the accidental shooting down by a French missile during a dogfight between Libyan and French fighter jets."
