It's a unique experience having one foot in the fiat world and one in the free and open world.
I take some satisfaction in agreeing with people how terribly broken everything is (commiserating), but when it comes time to show them a solution their mind puts up a barrier.
I had a long conversation with the former VP of operations at ford motor company yesterday. Brilliant guy who worked with Henry fords son, and we opined on the need for hard money, inflation, Austrian economics, but he could not wrap his head around bitcoin.
He understood every concept, but couldn't connect those attributes to bitcoin. Hopefully planted some seeds.
