GM! 🌅🍳☕️ Your considerations about the context are quite assertive. Here in my country (🇧🇷), when we visit the few physical bookstores that still remain, we can clearly identify three classes of publications: literary classics and new best-sellers (some more acclaimed by the media than by the public), technical books and new authors who are not yet known. The best stores offer the opportunity to try them all. This allows us to get a preview of the content. However, the vast majority, despite having an interesting cover, generally fail to capture our attention enough for us to decide in favor of purchasing them, even if the product is competitively priced in relation to its competitors. In my opinion, all of this is related to the issues already raised and also to the deficient educational structure of my country, where for several decades a movement has flourished that aims to contain individual thought and creativity by prioritizing and massifying ideas that direct the population towards greater dependence on the State. The use of decentralized social networks such as #nostr can be an excellent option for disseminating our ideas and promoting the physical titles that we produce with the support of independent publishers.
