I said influence, and I know what I mean by it. Please do not try to twist my words. If the US leaves, the influence vacuum will be swiftly filled by other narratives. That is not good for the US and is arguably not good for the world.
Czechs have their own experience with eastern influence and are definitely glad that it ended. Maybe they are looking at the US more rationally and critically, but they are definitely not looking at the East with hope, as you are trying to insinuate. Most Czechs see Slovakia as a cautionary tale, not an example to follow.
