My children's faces, pure and bright,
Reflect the #Light, a guiding star.
Through Lent's embrace, with all my might,
We seek what lies beyond afar.
The fast, a bond, a sacred thread,
With Christ, we suffer, then we rise.
For sins we've borne, the words unsaid,
Before His all-seeing #eyes.
My wife beside, in gentle prayer,
We share the bread, the cup of grace.
A heavy cross, we humbly bear,
To find our solace in this place.
A simple meal, a humbled heart,
The journey's path, we humbly tread.
Torn from the world, we stand apart,
Where living faith is softly spread.
