I am so angry. Furious actually. I see a world collapsing like dominoes. I see people voting in monsters they may never be able to get rid of only because they are mad about inflation and want to blame someone. I am furious because the leader and his minion of our closest country are complete lunatics with fantasies of ruling the world. I am furious that ANY Canadians think he is just great because he hates the same people they do and the harm he is doing will somehow benefit them. I am furious because the immediate and possibly long-term future for my grandchildren is filled with uncertainty, constant stress, likely war and most certainly uprisings, revolts and insurgency scattered widely throughout the US including our border lands. These localized riots and fights will spill over into Canada and put everyone at risk. The fools here that champion these psychopaths will feel like they have permission to create chaos in their own neighbourhoods- I'm already seeing this kind of behaviour.
I am furious because every single good thing about the USA is being destroyed. A food and drug administration that we depended on for safety and transparency even with our own products and information. A trade network of food, goods, energy and essentials that enriched our lives. Science, technology, research, medicine... all are being hollowed out, slashed and destroyed because a handful of monstrous people can't fill their pockets with them, or use them for personal power and control so they are eliminating them. These same people are accelerating the destruction of the planet with removal of emissions regulations, drill-baby-drill production and reckless reverting to dirty energy. They are happy to drive the country back to children dying of preventable disease not only in their country but around the world. Countries that depend on US aid for medicine, security, food all abandoned in one power tripping ketamine fueled idiot's gleeful moment in the limelight.
My anger is so deep and pure at the thought of the US trying to walk up here and take our resources, invade us or try to annex us any other way. It will never happen and the resulting fight will leave countless dead and 2 countries that will never recover a relationship.
And to my US friends- I am so sorry you are going through this. I know you didn't want or choose this.
