India and Pakistan have exchanged a new round of reciprocal strikes in recent hours, with both sides now targeting increasingly strategic locations. Earlier, Indian forces struck several Pakistani airbases—three in total—including the Nur Khan Airbase in Rawalpindi, near Islamabad, where a C-130 aircraft was reportedly seen on fire.
In response, Pakistan announced the launch of what it described as a broad campaign targeting “strategic” Indian sites. Pakistani airspace has since been entirely closed, according to a sweeping NOTAM. Meanwhile, explosions were heard live on television in Srinagar, one of the twin capitals of Indian-administered Kashmir.
