Because, incidentally, THAT is exactly the reason his is revered… because other musicians analyze his compositions and have concluded, in most cases, that he operated at the peak of the arc of western music history… there is a reason that his work is at the absolute center of nearly every music academy, strongest in both the musicianship/theory, and the vocal departments… you don’t have a fucking argument.
