For the first time in years, Russian President Vladimir Putin has stated publicly that he is open to direct bilateral negotiations to potentially end the invasion Ukraine, as pressure for both sides to agree to a quick peace deal continues to build from U.S. President Trump and his Administration.
Officials from the United States, Europe, and Ukraine are set to meet later this week in London, where the Trump Administration hopes to receive a response to a document detailing terms and concessions for ceasefire from Kyiv, before eventually presenting the same to Russia.
