Iran is expected to reject the US's 'one-sided' proposal for a nuclear deal, a senior Iranian diplomat told Reuters on Monday. He described the proposal as 'unsuccessful' and said it does not take into account Tehran's interests, leaving the US position on uranium enrichment unchanged. Iran is drafting a negative response to the US proposal, which could be seen as a rejection of the American offer. The US proposal for a new nuclear deal was presented to Iran on Saturday by Oman's Foreign Minister, Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, who was on a short visit to Tehran and mediating in nuclear talks between Tehran and Washington.
