Tomorrow in Italy is a day of celebration. April 25 is in fact the day of liberation. Italy had already surrendered fascism no longer existed, but the German Nazi forces occupied Italy. So it is not the liberation from fascism as many people think. But it is the liberation from the German Nazism that had occupied Italy. Partisan forces drove the Germans out of Italy and Italy finally passed to the right side of history with a guilty delay. Of course. But as they say, better late than never. Fuck Nazism. Long live the feast of liberation 🇮🇹
