The good is the real, and to reflect the good is to be excellent in all actions.
Awareness ---> Excellence
The first step into the real and the good is humility. Understanding, at least in concept, the magnitude of the gulf between you and reality, is humility. Excellence is the transmutation of that imperfection into right action.
Thus, that which is real is good, and that which is good is real. But this is knowledge by proxy. Its deduction, not experience. Rational, not empirical.
What use is the good if you can't teach it? Your ability to give is your closeness to God/Heaven/Dao/Reality.
If you would teach, you have two major tasks. First, to be the student. Second, to expedite your students' transition from the regimented and static object of knowledge, to the dynamic flow of output. This is why our educational system is so destructive - it never moves from the former to the latter.
Excellence can't be taught, at least not directly. It emerges from flow, which is being fully present, in the present, mindfulness.
