if you can make enduring arrangements with animals you are a shepherd
they don't really scare at this persuasion thing but they like this shaman-intermedia'ry thing a lot
i observe animals all the time, i am watching a dozen kinds of birds these days and the dogs and cats and people and trying to make sense of all of it
