I'm trying to bring people off WhatsApp, Telegram, Viber and whatnot for yeeaars now - it's a grind, even with freedom-minded people!
My most successful alternative is Signal. SimpleX is a candidate.
But Nostr can become the real deal for online communities to thrive in freedom. I'm willing to try and test it with a committed group. And then eventually use it with my real-life workshop clients community.
