Block Subsidy
When miners create a new Bitcoin block, they earn a reward. Part of that reward is the block subsidy — new BTC freshly minted. It halves every ~4 years and is how Bitcoin enters circulation. Over time, the subsidy will drop to zero. Only fees will remain.
