and the european union is so mushy, they aren't really having much trouble keeping the upper hand either
all the threats to "punish" russia are hollow, they can't stop russia, the whole EU is so disorganised, demoralized and incompetent and corrupt that they make the russian establishment look good
and all russia wants, pretty much, is crimea, but they keep on pushing back at that without any substance behind their threats which is essentially inviting fully reintegrating ukraine into russia
and nato is practically dead in the water, USA can't keep funding it at the level of the last 50 years anymore, with their economy in the shitter thanks to 50 years of endless depredations of communist infiltration into local and state governments
i hope that trump manages to clean up a lot of what is wrong in USA right now, and even if he doesn't manage to cut it below 40% of what it was, it's still gonna leave USA as the beacon of civilization in the world at large.
it's not hard to see how we really need an intervention at this point. the brakes are on but the decay is past the point of no return, if you ask me. i can't stand walking around in "normal" society anymore, even just the bigger town 2km away from me is too disgusting for me to be motivated to go there if i can avoid it. i'm getting used to being around conservative portuguese country folk, and i can't see myself going back, ever, ever, again, europe is behind me, i'm tired of europe, so tired of it
