Also, streams are low fidelity, high latency and prone to glitches. Attention to UX at end of stream will REALLY help retain listeners, improving both zap amounts and number of zaps.
- some artist’s content is better (for streaming) than others
- equipment quality matters a LOT
- set and setting (lighting, background, overlays, ect..) also help.
- highlighting actual zaps for in person audience as well and app users will be HUGE.
I think this is winnable without a catch 22. Make streaming and zapping a more pleasant for all audiences.
