According to Ynet, both U.S. Army THAAD batteries stationed in southern Israel and Israel’s Arrow-2/3 missile defense systems failed to intercept the long-range ballistic missile launched this morning by Iranian-backed Houthi forces toward central Israel. Despite the interception failure, Israel's Defense Ministry dismissed claims from Houthi-linked media that the missile was a new or advanced hypersonic type, stating it was a previously known model that had been successfully intercepted in earlier attacks.
