Can I just say that the entire NZ 'police vetting' process for people wanting to help at schools, or other roles involving care of children, is such a painful, needlessly complicates process. The level of ineptitude required to have created such a completely unfit-for-service, uniquely cumbersome system is quite awe inspiring. I'm all for policy vetting, but this specific system is an unnecessary impediment to people just wanting do something helpful for their community as volunteers.
