Community apps don't need the outbox model.
Publications become much more like actual Events (as in Parties 🎉).
The author of a publication picks which Communities he's "inviting" (with an editable Targeted Publication event).
The communities either accept or decline that invitation.
The publication now has a "global" state of participants in the reply section (and other sections).
Like an actual party, you're either in or out. And the people on the outside are still :110percent: free to talk about the party too.
