2025-02-25 19:50:44if i wanted to go out and build a new instagram app right now. centralised and all. i would stil need some sort of VC funding to host the servers, moderation, branding, etc.. this is still a thing on atproto, but it also just makes more apps depend and rely on bluesky's service. (not good for long
