A rather unhinged but still somewhat friendly old man just approached me in the café I’m working from to ask about some technical stuff out of the blue (probably because I was working on a laptop, lol).
I politely told him that I can listen and maybe provide some suggestions for about 10 minutes but that I’ve had to get back to work afterwards.
He barely listened, kept on interrupting me and always claimed to know better without me having had the chance of uttering a full sentence.
Good luck getting people to help you if you behave like this.
Maybe I’m just too nice in these situations.
