Who have been trained to believe that selfishness is the best solution to everything. "It worked for oligarchs, so clearly that works." But it doesn't work for societies, and we see plenty of evidence that the most caring societies are the happiest ones.
*Of course, it isn't really surprising once I looked outside my insular world. That's what I gained from social media.
