2025-02-13 03:48:13I was a live in student at an Aikido dojo for a while in the 90s right before UFC 1 with Gracie started. They all REALLY thought Aikido worked and I was brand new to it and dug the philosophy, but had wrestled in school so it just didn’t look like it actually worked- it was like a staged dance. Holy shit did people eventually fuck around and find out - proof of work for the win!!😂
