this is why i have actively sought to avoid employment under contracts that have these stupid contributions in them for the last 5 years, and i already knew what a racket it was back in 2007, it was heartbreaking to see how much money they were taking and if i left the country or the pension fund folded that was all just paying for CEOs private jets and comfortable retirement funds that they were allowed to put anywhere they want
it's a bit like if it was a town of pickpockets, i just never took any money with me unless i could travel in a carriage instead, and avoid all of their usual haunts
i'd love to shoot them like i would be justified in doing and permitted to do in some parts of the USA, but they shield themselves with so many protections, the only real way out is to stay off the record
the agent who handles my lease at this place even made a fun comment about how here i could "stay off the grid" which i thought was an interesting thing to say, when you consider that half of his work is pushing money around for the government.
as governments get more and more greedy and steal more and more, people eventually stop seeing resistance as bad form but instead it becomes a necessity
