During the communist regime in Romania, #Saint Constantin Sârbu, a dedicated priest, openly criticized the government's policies that suppressed religious freedom. He was arrested for his outspokenness and unwavering faith. In prison, he endured torture and relentless pressure to renounce his beliefs, but he remained steadfast. Even in the face of death, he continued to minister to his fellow prisoners, offering them comfort and hope. He was eventually executed for his refusal to compromise his faith.
