internet is in a continuous WAR between those who seek to CENSOR and CONTROL information and those who seek for FREEDOM of INDIVIDUAL. nostr is NOT AN EXCEPTION from this, and the war is already within our borders. in fact, nostr is already captured by the majority of those who want to gain control over individual choice. most of the apps in this ecosystem are implementing features which are built for CONTROLLING YOUr behavior. whenever a tool or mechanism to control information is merged in a repository, the OWNER ANNOUNCES his or her willingness TO CONTROL choices of those who use these tools. nostr is built by christian bitcoin maximalists who cannot think clearly.
tools that are built to enable censorship and control of other should not be part of a protocol. we need to build an alternative for those who stand for REAL FREEDOMS OF INDIVIDUAL CHOICE. the protocol itself should be built not on censorship but for free delivery of information throughout all of its specification and implementation. specification is what forces implementation to follow, and applications that do not follow specification should be rejected by specification following applications.
