Bullbitcoin finally launched in #Mexico on April 10th and I've been playing around with their app nostr:nprofile1qqsr70lh4keezkwy9s92zm2ncpyrh7l6647ly257n6fkfgcxws0t9ncpzamhxue69uhhyetvv9ujumn0wd68ytnzv9hxgtczczjxh . It's KYC but they only ask for the absolute minimum necessary, and their founder, nostr:nprofile1qqs94rjcrut2qyhzf54xgq2j44tzqkxtqe0pmu5wjp7ph75zc9gv3wspzemhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuurjd9kkzmpwdejhgqgjwaehxw309ac82unsd3jhqct89ejhxqg5waehxw309aex2mrp0yhxgctdw4eju6t05aupqu sounds like an awesome guy (his latest podcast on Saifedean's show is a great listen).
A cool feature is that I can use my #bitcoin to pay anyone who lives in the EU, Canada and Mexico in fiat by just typing in their bank account number, debit card number or phone number associated to their bank account. You just send your bitcoin to the app and bullbitcoin takes care of the rest.
I know there are other services out there that offer this but here's a nice tip for anyone who's a tax resident in Mexico, first off, this is not tax advise and DYOR, but from my latest interviews with Mexican bitcoin exchanges (on my spanish YouTube channel), it seems they are only obligated to report buy or sell transactions to the tax authoroties if they exceed $60,000 MXN (around $3,000 USD) in a six month period. It's not much, but you can use multiple other exchanges in Mexico to cash into or out off btc and not completely worry about being reported to tax authorities. Of course, they could always specifically ask the exchange for your transaction history even if you don't breach this amount, so verify and use this information under your own risk. All I can say to any government is GFY.
