⚡️🇸🇻 WATCH - The government of Nayib Bukele, President of El Salvador, is putting prisoners to work to repair some of the damage they have caused to society.
"Plan Cero Ocio" in El Salvador. This program forces inmates to work (baking, construction, farming) to support themselves and reduce prison costs, involving over 40,000 prisoners. However, it is controversial: some see it as rehabilitation, while others denounce forced labor and inhumane conditions, according to Human Rights Watch.
