I think they are pretty much done - like the walkman .. and digital cams .. and VCRs .. I mean with a AI assistant watch (or ear plugs or glasses ) with GPS and 5G , there is no reason carrying bulky devices in your pockets .. unless you really want to do something creative - like code , paint , video edit ..etc ... for that we have good old desktop .. may be improved chips to accommodate bigger AI workloads .. I guess most creatives would run deepSeek or lLama native on desktop ..
