This is so stupid but that's what normies do. They don't pay attention to stuff they need. It's actually good for Bitcoin that normies don't and won't have as much of a say in the network, it keeps the network consensus from being manipulated by demagogues and psyops.
We gotta accumulate as much as we can and simply try to provide for our communities and friends, create services that serve as alternatives to government bullshit. Some people are not interested in getting rich or doing what's best for themselves. They just don't care. They're not ready to be responsible to that level yet. It seems like a basic level of responsibility, and it is, and I'm telling you, the ones who aren't interested, just try to help them in ways they'll be more receptive to and let yourself get richer. Find goods and services and narratives they'll be interested in that will help them to wake up a little, but don't trust them to be managing their own UTXOs or to respect large amounts of bitcoin as the long term savings vehicles they are. If they don't opt in when you've given then the chance, meet them where they are. Normies gonna normie.
