That's not true. And there were multiple pieces that were definitively traced to MH370 using serial numbers, and they matched the specific model of plane. Not sure where you got the idea that it was one piece. And even if it was one piece, how would that negate all the data they were able to collect and plot? The authorities certainly believed it because they had a massive search effort in that location off the coast of Australia, but bad weather and problems related to the sea floor in that spot caused them to stop after I think several weeks. I haven't seen any compelling evidence related to Diego Garcia, and definitely not any evidence that's as compelling as the multiple, converging sources of data that led to the spot off of Australia. What's your theory? I'd love to hear and see how it fits with the known evidence and circumstances.
