During WW2, the Zionists fought against the Allies. The (socialist-zionist) Haganah "defected" after a year, and the (fascist-zionist) Irgun were forced to follow after a couple more, but the (national-zionist) Lehi fought against the Allies until they were all caught and jailed.
Lehi Executive Council member David Stern even wrote a rather high-handed letter to Hitler demanding better weapons to fight the Allies.
His followers disclaimed all knowledge after they were caught, of course
Zionists just like Netanyahu today fought on Hitler's side of WW2 out of ideological affinity and shared interests, even though he'd have liked to see them dead.
