Scepticism is healthy.
The old way:
Upper management is effectively the prompt creators when talking about a project to their team. Their team are the agents who make it happen.
The new way:
YOU are upper management and either your IDE w/ AI or other AI Agent(s) are your agents that make it happen.
Programmers still need to understand how to code, without AI reliance.
Would you want someone calling themselves a doctor or surgeon if they NEEDED AI to perform their tasks or if they couldn't do the surgery in the first place without it?
