2025-04-12 00:09:18Everytime OpenBSD is not shutdown correctly, it does a filesystem check and repair on startup. It can be time consuming and irritating. But I figured out, after having to do file system repair on my Linux install, that most Linux distributions just skip the process and allow disk corruption to accumulate until you do it manually. The automated time consuming OpenBSD way doesnt seem so irritating after all.
