I would like you to know jack dorsey sponsored simplex why didn't you mention him in this bad rant of a post on simplex oh because hes pro nostr you don't wana tie your bad claimsnto jack.
First off the blockchain their making isn't for csam this kind of misinformation is how people believe an assumption & spread false information. Please take some time to do a full research on what your talking about before you say it. Hes making a blockchain so he can make a profit off of transactiond exchanged on it (the blockchain fee that's in every blockchain) The goal is to allow server operators smp owners to make a profit as well as evgeny.
The method of making the directory bot have the option to make the user pay the group owner for access to the group or solve a image word captcha challenge. This is the protection to prevent bots from spam attacking rooms. You don't have to pay anyone if the options not on just so you know this isn't even in simplex yet the payment method. Second this does not affect anonymity or privacy in any way nothing within the simplex group messaging protocol has changed yet & when it does it's only affecting how users connect to chat because the protection added.
So what's happening or will happen when it's finished is you join a room, you will only be connected to the bot not trying to connect to every member in the group. You pass the captcha then you will connect to the group & every member. Now everything else you pointed out has been apart of simplex since it came out user blocking & content moderation. The only difference between then & now is theirs labels so you know wtf is going on & not assuming it's a random connection error.
For content moderation all that was added is a window to show reports which is displayed to all admins & owners in the group. The directory bot if it's an admin in your group forwards all report messages to it's owner so common sense don't make the directory bot admin in your group. The better answer is FORK THE DIRECTORY BOT CODE & HOST IT YOURSELF!
Now you say simplex isn't decentralized it is but you don't understand how that works. What your expecting is some built in search to easily discovery like how activitypub does to track instances. You go to settings & configure your connection's routing method so that means find the smp server info & put it in yourself there you go decentralized you made the effort.
Why is flux in there because they agreed to simplex's terms to be listed within the app as a third party server operator. Evgeny doesn't want any random fuck listed he made terms to make sure that operators would comply to a strict set of guidelines so they would ensure not to compromise the anonymity of users. If you don't know any smp owner can see through his terminal console while his smp is running ipaddress 1 msg ipaddress 2. That's just how messaging works regardless of application period.
So please tell me what you don't understand after taking the time to read & lookup on github to confirm hey maybe even join the simplex chat & read whats being discussed.
