Caught up with an old friend today and it's rare that you can sit with a mate and talk the shit for over 3 hours about vicarious trauma and deep shit.
I wish everyone had someone they can get vulunerble with and keep it real. Too much phony masculinity online about remaining unfazed by life.
There's always a time and a place. Some stuff isn't normal to see. Having someone die in your arms is not the usual experience many have. I can really emphasize with those who have been through those crucible moments and dug their way out nail by nail.
Many get caught up in addiction and never come out the same. Life's complex, you never really have to go at it 100 percent alone. Not always at least.
