I’ve always been into sport, family, active living but now that I’ve massively reduced my alcohol intake in 2025, I’ve come to realise that a) I was drinking way too much before and b) I was not operating anywhere near peak performance.
Think you need to be at least 2 weeks booze free to start seeing the positive effects. 1 month better.
Not saying I’ll never have a glass of red wine again, but max 3-4 times per year. And that’ll be a glass as opposed to polishing the bottle.
The future is bright. Marathon and KB swing annual reps PBs coming this year.
