El Salvador will gain benefit from NVIDIA’s cutting-edge AI tools, resources, and expertise, enabling the development of sovereign AI capabilities tailored to the nation's unique cultural, linguistic, environmental, and economic priorities.
El Salvador will focus on building domestic AI infrastructure, upskilling the workforce, and creating solutions to address local challenges such as improving healthcare delivery, advancing education, and boosting economic productivity.
El Salvador intends to establish AI training programs for developers, researchers, and government officials as part of the letter of intent (LOI), ensuring the nation has the talent to sustain its AI ambitions.
The LOI also includes development of advanced weather and rainfall prediction models to better enhance the allocation of emergency services resources, protect residents in mudslide-prone regions, and optimize hydroelectric power resource management with precision and efficiency.
