2025-06-14 10:10:19**Release Notes #3: shipping daily. **
This one’s a short update — not because there’s nothing going on, but because there’s too much going on. It’s literally 2am here and we’ve got red lights going and code, designs, content all being pushed.
The entire core team is in Prague right now, working 7am to 2am every day. We’re prepping for the first public unveiling of Satlantis at BTCPrague next week.
We’ve shipped some serious upgrades in the last sprint.

The Good
🎥 Video Posting from Satlantis!
You can now upload and post actual video content to Satlantis. The look and feel is not quite a “reel” like what you’d see on Instagram or TikTok— but that will happen.
So for now, video works just like any other post and like what you’d expect on any other Nostr based application, except it also has auto-play when you scroll through and if you single tap, you turn on music. Try it out. Share something.
🧭 Upgraded Onboarding
We flipped the onboarding flow: sign-up now comes first, interests come second.It’s smoother, faster, and gets people into the product more quickly if they have an account and for those who don’t they get a chance to personalise things first.
🎟 Events Keep Improving
Especially on mobile web, where the UI and flow have been polished. RSVP is smoother, co-hosts render better, and the venue tiles actually work now.
Events are turning into one of the best parts of Satlantis. And it’s only getting better.
🧠 Smarter Merchant Suggestions
We’ve made upgrades to the way merchants are suggested — with new clustering that better matches your interests andpersonality. The results? Recommendations that just feel more relevant. This is the kind of travel directory that actually understands you.
💬 Chat Is Live (on Web)
Yes, finally. You can now DM other users via the web app, powered by Nostr (NIP-04). Mobile is not ready though. More on that below.
🧪 Smarter Feed
The content feed is starting to learn. It’s early days — but already, the relevance and vibe are improving. We’re making the shift from “just a feed” to “a window into your world.”
🐛 Bug Extermination
We fixed hundreds of small, annoying bugs — layout issues, crashes, scroll weirdness, sync jank — all squashed. The app is faster, cleaner, crisper, and it will keep getting more that way.
🧱 Infrastructure Overhaul
The long story short is that we’re in the process of re-engineering our infrastructure. This won’t make headlines, but you’ll feel it.
This is Vano literally migrating our DB over to new infra while at dinner earlier tonight.
The Bad
📵 Mobile Chat Isn’t Ready
As mentioned above, Chat is live on web — but chat on mobile is lagging behind because the focus has been on more important features. We want this to feel right — and we’re not there yet. I think I’ll stop making promises for now on when it will be released and just tell you when it’s there..lol
🔔 Notifications Still Suck
We’re half way through an upgrade here. Trying to sync up notifications from all the different functions in the app has been more involved than we wanted. Right now the syncing is better, but you still can’t click on anything (well..on web you can, but mobile not yet).
By next release, this will be much better.
The Ugly
🏙 The New Destination Home Page Isn’t Ready (Yet)
This one hurts, because the new destination pages are so damn close. They’re a big upgrade — with fresh layout, dynamic modules, better content flow — but they won’t land until next week.
We’ll be launching them at BTCPrague and since that’s in Prague, you’ll get to see it in action on that page. Once again, this is a first release for this new design, so expect it to be buggy. It will get significantly better over the coming weeks as we clean it up.

Final Words
Like I said — short update this week. But not because we’re slowing down. Quite the opposite. We’re pushing harder than ever — and preparing to open the doors next week in Prague.
