This is an interesting example of how the HumanOS works - both a bug and a feature I think. Not dissing ya, just noticing.
The kindergarten kids at school have no attachment to 9/11 at all. I imagine it being similar to Pearl Harbor for me.
Yet after every major tragedy, those on the scene that day experiencing the reality of it all say, we will “NEVER FORGET” and they don’t.
Everyone suffering in Palestine right now will “Never Forget”.
All the kids born afterwards eventually will forget though, and then talk their own shit about what it was actually like before they were born and could possibly know anything real about it.
I think the feature is that we move on despite all the generational horrors - we rationalize shit and just keep on keeping on. It’s fascinating to see it happening in my lifetime more than once now.
