The difference between men and women, in my experience:
Wife: go get this thing, it's in this exact spot.
Husband: can't find it. It's not in that spot.
Wife *gets the thing from the exact spot without even looking*

Husband: go get this thing, I think it's in this spot.
Wife: can't find it. It's not in that spot, or anywhere around it.
Husband: ill find it later.
Wife (days later): oh hey, I found the thing. It was in the spot but I swear I looked there.
Huaband: oh yeah, it was with me the whole time and I forgot to tell you until you thought you found it just now.
