🧙♂️ Specter Desktop v2.1.1 now on Start9 with Bitcoin Core v28+ Support! 🚀
Hey Stackers 👋
After some deep diving into the Start9 SDK, I’ve successfully updated the Specter Desktop service for StartOS to v2.1.1 – fully compatible with Bitcoin Core v28+! 🎉
What’s New?
✅ Updated to Specter v2.1.1
🧩 Full support for Bitcoin Core v28.x + v29.x
🔐 Improved multisig and hardware wallet support
🧱 Built using the new Start9 SDK
🧪 Verified + tested successfully on my own Start9 node

🙋 Why This Matters
The official Specter wrapper was outdated and incompatible with newer Bitcoin Core releases. I decided to take matters into my own hands and bring it up to date, with full build support using the new SDK – no legacy Embassy tools needed.
