It is a day for visiting cemeteries and memorials to mourn the military personnel who died IN THE LINE OF DUTY.
A few of the hardest things I had to do with over 2000 military funerals. Hawn, Taylor and Reese were the first Kia from the Tennessee National Guard.
Remember what this weekend is for.
2005, The Tennessee military department confirmed the identities as 35 year old SSGT Asbury Hawn II of Lebanon, 30 year old SGT Shannon Taylor of Smithville and 22 year old SGT Gary Reese of Ashland City. All three soldiers were members of the 3rd Squadron, 278th Regimental Combat Team.

I don't recall all the others, I know there is a list somewhere and I've honored at least 10, as well as honorable transfers for other states.
Some gave all.
